Summer league 2021 game 5 thread

I like the woman announcer. She's not cringe with her hype building but keeps the energy high. Was a nice experience

 

Yeah, Justin Anderson had a block that I thought was Garuba's, but I'll take it. Anderson came up big towards the end on both ends of the court.

 

That's just a winning player's stat line. Unselfish and fulfilling your role the best you can.

Noticed same thing. Very light hearted with good sense of humour, energy… like i was watching game with a friend

 

Great win.

Hopefully we see more of this in the regular season. Rox were horrible at closing games when they were close last year.

Ecstatic with the amount of talent the team has accumulated in a short period of time (season and a half)! I think it goes to show that a change of leadership is sometimes a good thing...and selecting smart people to run the show is always a great approach. Very excited for the future...and probably more importantly, I like the guys the team is building around. Seem like good kids who will be very easy to cheer for. Hopefully they all like Houston and the organization and work hard to reach their ceilings. Like @ThatBoyNick, good times are coming!

All that with some tough defense as well.

He still doesn't have that natural passing/sharing instinct but this is a positive sign!

 

I'll admit I didn't catch the game but, just glancing at the box score, what does Lamb bring to the team other than helping our tank-for-2022 cause? The first few games I caught he was a complete nonfactor and looks to be consistent in that department.

 

He was 5-6 on 3's in the last game's first half, but then bricked everything after pretty much. He's either hot or cold.

 

The other one kept talking about money, that was cringe.

 

Garuba was like some intercepting missile on that play. I literally stood up when I saw that one.

Didn’t realize Garuba had those kind of hops. If he can develop a three he’ll be a significant rotation piece.
