Oof it's all going downhill for Bev. Minnesota is a cool-ass city but the franchise is not a place you go to revitalize your career.

    Then again, anything is possible

Dude's a 33 year old, short, defensive point guard who presses full court. Of course his decline is gonna be sudden.

Amazing underdog story and one of my favorite former Rockets though. The amount of hate and ridicule he gets from fans makes me root for him even more.

I love him, I just haven’t been impressed recently when watching him.

He is getting beat at the point of attack on defense fairly frequently now. We already know he isn’t good offensively at winning the point of attack so that combo really limits his game.

He isn’t a great passer or creator, so he basically has to hit open 3’s to contribute on offense - and if the defense isn’t there, then he is very mediocre.

I just don’t think he defends all that well now and doesn’t create at all on offense. So he is very limited.

Im sure the Wolves figure his effort will be high and he is tough and knows how to win; something the Wolves need… but he isn’t terribly productive anymore.

You know your career is over when you become a guidance counselor in Minnesota.

I’ll always love you Bev, you had a good run.

I think you can take the Lakers off that list.

Bev was a good player esp on the Rox. Problem were his injuries, dude always got injured esp when it mattered most. Now at 33 most of his quickness is gone, the effort and attitude still there but the play cant back it up anymore imo.

Glad to see he made the most of his career and got that bag. It's been a good run. Maybe he will provide good influence on KaT and Russell, you never know.

    I love the idea personally.

Yea I kept holding out that he would at least get his shot down, but hes jut inconsistent on that end of the court but as you mentioned he brings a whole another level of grit.

I think Patrick is going to be the right edge for them ,to makethings more intense in practice. Wiggin/butler are gone, maybe the new young guys nad KAT are tired at being at the bottom. We know beverly only has one gear and that team has some talent, just a terrible motor. It may be an underrated move in that regard.

They were calling Booker the next Kobe until Bev shut him down a whole SERIES. Booker was playing outta his mind until Beverley guarded him

You have to understand most of the idiot posters here specialize in calling certain players trash. Beverley just shut down the best player on the hottest team a whole playoff series. A player in decline doesn’t do this.
