I know this isnt about the Rockets, but I figured since Ive seen this on this board then I should say something here. The Clips were 31-51 last year. The team is the same except they lost skinner and added Brand. Brand is a 20-10 player in the east, but he will be about 15-8 player on the clips. If they are lucky, they will win 40-45 games next year, still about 10-12 games out of a playoff spot. People keep saying they will challenge for a playoff spot, but dont bet on it. ------------------
just kidding, they wont be 10-12 games out but they still wont challenge the rocks. ------------------
The Clips beat us 3 outta 4 times this season. The only time we won was while Odom was suspended for using drugs (laugh laugh). And this was all last season. Now they have Brand, and all the youngins have had another season another their belts to improve. ------------------ PrEsident of The Danforth Langhford FAN CLUB... It just appears that the Clipps have a lot of young potential on that team for a change and only appear to be slightly behind where we were last year. The players seem to have good chemistry together and seem to enjoy being clippers for a change. ------------------
The Clippers are building their own little junior All-Star team. They're a scary bunch, and I wouldn't want to be the Lakers because you know the Clippers are setting their sites on their crosstown brothers. With the Suns, and Blazers, and potentially Kings falling off a bit, and with the Timberwolves not able to improve greatly (although Loren Woods helps), it opens the door for some young guns like the Rockets and Clippers, who, if they sign the players they want, will be light years better. ------------------ "Win if you can, lose if you must but always cheat!" - Jesse Ventura
