In that price range i would seriously look at the G35 sport coupe if you dont need a sedan. I have always been a fan of the BMW 3 series but i think that the G35 blows it away. It also gets great gas milage for a 280hp motor (20/27 for the 6 speed). My only complaint is that the interior could be better. The leather is nice but the dash and insrument cluster look a little too plasticy.

On one hand, that tank carries a Hemi V-8 and good, old-fashioned rear wheel drive, which is good.
However, recent Chrysler reliability troubles would make a 300 a non-starter for me and my family. If I were you, perhaps you could buy a Mercury Marauder. Production ends this year and while they don't have the vault-busting hp of the Chrysler, you are guaranteed to get a good deal on a car that is high quality, handles well and looks killer. In fact, imagine all of the people you can screw around with on the hwy since it looks like a cop car!

Or you could buy a cheap 928, drop 10,000 grand in the motor and have something that eats Vipers for lunch and Corvettes for snacks.

This is my baby at work on the track. They still haven't built a cooler looking sports car and likely never will. There is only one shark.

HAHA, I have a 1999 Lincoln Navigator and I got all those things(leather, GPS, CD changer, not moon roof but the i got T.V.s in it) and when I got it was north of 40K, and one thing is for sure, I would not get the same thing if I had the chance to buy another expensive vehicle. The BMWs and Mercedes are by far some of the best cars in the world, not just when it comes to luxury but the good ones come with cool engines like the BMW M3 or M5. and that being said, I heard that Mercedes purchased Chrysler thus the new chryslers are looking pretty good and have some similarity to the Mercedes. Like the crossfire and the little Mercedes car, i forgot the name of the car but they look alike.

The Crossfire has the guts of the SLK. Great marketing concept. Give a well worn MB platform to Chrysler who just basically throws some new skin on it and people go ape over it. :)

hmm come to think of it, that is what's up with the new chryslers. The skins. The new models look so nice, but I guess you are right. They are still Chryslers so they probably still carry the same problems.

I drive an F150. gotta love having a truck.

The thing that bothers me about the 300 is that it looks wrong. The styling, surprisingly for Chrysler, is a bit on the ugly side. I like the way the Dodge Magnum looks much better, but that's a station wagon.

I'm on the fence with the 300. We've owned 2 chrysler products and both of them were lemons. We had an LHS that had the tranny replaced 4 times.

That being said I dig the new look and love 4 door sport family cars. We just got a Maxima. It's pretty nice. Have you looked at the Grand Prix or the Bonneville?

And there is nothing wrong with a 24 yr old driving a car like that.

    The Bonnevilles are AWESOME.

I had a 2000 that I traded in for my truck 2 years ago. Probably my fav vehicle of all time.

It had the wide trac suspension and was the most comfortable ride Ive ever been in. We took a trip down to McAllen and one to Oklahoma in it. I couldnt imagine being in any other car for that long.

    Just one...kind of ugly, IMHO.

I've never driven one(A CTS, that is), but I just don't like the styling of most Cadillacs.

Learn your lesson. People keep buying these lame cars and they keep making them because people keep buying them. Stop buying them and make them get their stuff together.

I liked it - the styling was different, but it was underpowered in comparison to the G35 and TL. I think they've added a V8 since then (could be wrong) but that just bumps the price into the $40k range which is nuts for that car. Also, I think pretty much everything was an option on that car. It looks like a great deal to start with, but then you start adding stuff and all of a sudden it's not such a great deal anymore.

You're think of the of the CTS V, which boasts the same motor as the Z06 Corvette, all 400+ hp of it. I'd take one of those babies in a minute- a four door Corvette that can smoke cars costing twice as much with a six-speed manual to boot. Awesome! Personally, I think the CTS is the best looking car beside the Vette GM has built in a looooooooong time.
