Wood should be included on the old list if Nwaba and Theis are, that would clinch the win for the old guys.

Lol yea the timeline stuff has gotten out of hand...are we really not considering variables of people within 3-5 years of eachother? You need vets, you need a range of variety..for contracts staggering, etc as well. Look at the top of the league they are in their 30s, thats when people mature and know how to harness the talent and skill and make it efficient and make it work after a decade experience, that can really help.

I'm not writing wood off as out of our timeline, and I'm aware after two seasons hes going to jump to a possible 20 plus contract. Wnning will have a way of soliving that, unless you're one of those fans of the budget on here, then you can go with the age old(2017) well wait for the repeaters, or will wood guarantee a finals? no so no, or we're waiting for lebron to sign then we'll pay up. lol

Career assist average of 9 a game would beg to differ.

more approriate, why did kelly choose to walk? sucess here individually, a role available, about the same money, both non contenders...why do people with options(brown, morey, bzdelik, harden, tucker even without:mda, westbrook) keep leaving the last few years? trying to find a common denominator [IMG]

I actually hope they stay until at least the trade deadline. I think Jalen needs to start from day 1.

So my only concern would be Who starts at the other guard spot or KPJ wall and Green could start together. Maybe sub wall early for a bigger wing/forward.

I dunno, but I hope Silas can make it work some way.

why give him a starter right off the bat?
I ike the idea of them earning it, sitting and watching a bit to figure ito ut unless in practie he is just busting everyones ass and has earned it, then i don't mind bringin him along. more important than starting is getting time and touches which hell get no matter what on this roster, so i don't mind dangling the starter position for even a month

remmeber they did that with melo, came along strong, did that with curry...its about minutes, touches, starting doesnt matter yet.

Yeah I’ll agree to disagree. Not going to be a huge deal if he doesn’t start but I absolutely believe he should start on this team. I think he can handle it and I believe it will accelerate his development.

you may be right, I think it just depends ont he particular player if they woudlbe better seeing it from the bench first, green sounds like hes ready for prime time or been waiting a year for it. either way, he seems like hes ready to fire it up

    Old rockets

Augustin though isn't on the team

    Wall Gordon Nwaba House Theis
    Is a good lineup

    PorterJr Green MartinJr Christopher/Garuba Sengun

    Would make it tough though.
But I just believe in the old guys defence over the kids.

Look at what Stone has done in less than a year. Replace Wall with Harden and that is one of the better teams we would have had in years, too.

The vets win because of experience but for how long is the real question. What a nice blend, practice could get lively and that’s a really good thing.

Im Fiba theres No way any of the kids score on EG. In NBA they will get touch fouls so they will score at will

The kids have more experience in FIBA than the veterans.

    FIBA rules advantage youth.

Also EG can’t jump into guys for fouls anymore. Wall is pretty guilty of this as well. Honestly that was a really bad point to being up if you thought it helped the veterans….

I like seeing people hype Wall and Gordon for once though. Very sudden levels of respect they don’t usually get around here.
