It's just preseason, but yeah, not too bad so far. And yes, this will be one of only a few Texans games I see in Tyler.

Idk how smart culley is when it comes to strategy but I think he’s the right guy for this job.

He can galvanize the troops and the team will not quit on him

Shaq Lawson is playing with the third stringers. That’s disappointing, I thought he was going to be a starter.

There's nothing more stronger than the unity of an team and organization.

Part of me wonders if Culley was hired as a figurehead while Tim Kelly gets more experience.

Culley was hired to be CEO. Love knows how to run a defense. Tim Kelly proved he can put together an offense. You guys have always underestimated Culley because "he was never a coordinator"...blah, blah. You don't coach 30 years in the NFL and not pick things that make good Head Coaches win. He is there to be the steady, even-headed guy that can get fired up...if necessary. Culley may be the Texans' "Dusty Baker". After the Cheating scandal, the Astros needed someone to calm things down and focus the team. Navigate the negativity. As much as some people HATED Dusty, he is what the Astros need. Same may be said of Culley.

Hopefully Culley is better at filling out his everyday lineup than Dusty is lol

Dusty has the Astros in 1st, 2nd best record in the AL...even without Verlarnder and Bregman most of season (and a shitty Bullpen up until the trade Deadline).

Agree, but that's also because the Astros are talented AF. As well as they've played, it could be even better.

There are MANY talented teams that don't play well. Hell, everyone thought the Yankees would run away and hide this season.
