I was 25 when he told me and got married at 28. Met my girlfriend / soon to be wife right after this experience. He told me I'll be meeting my soul mate very soon.
There are real ones. I've seen a few forensic files where the psychic has literally been able to locate the body. But yeah, those ones one the highway are hoaxes.
Go to YouTube sometime and look up some James Randi videos. He would show how a lot of these people operate. Interesting to watch his stuff
Wow. Surprised there's such pushback and flaming as there is, to be honest. Shouldn't have expected much more, I guess. Not shocked, though. I never said I believed, though apparently some people think I did. I was given a reading as a birthday gift and thought why not? I went into it looking to disprove things and evaluate how she operated as she was doing the read. While I saw white a few things that led me to believe she was manipulating things, she did nail some personal things about me that were spot on. Things she couldn't have known. I don't have Facebook. She didn't have my full name. Etc. Was very interesting. I'm always looking to expand my mind and keep it open. I think most of these people are fakes that are looking to make money. Especially in cities, where I think it's easier to do that. I just think there's a chance that some people can tap into some sort of energy. It's very interesting to me, and I don't really know how to comprehend it. Was curious to take a pulse on here. Forgot this place isn't always what it used to be.
It’s not uncommon for someone in their mid 20s to meet their potential soul mate very soon. And the fact that he planted that seed in your mind may have influenced you seeking out such a person. Did he know you were single beforehand? The question is how many people did he say this too where it didn’t work out that way?
I used a psychic once in NO because my then-gf said she'd pay for it. It was nonsense. I was pretty drunk at the time so I don't remember many details, but I know he got a lot wrong. I remember him specifically saying that I didn't get along with my dad or bumped heads with him or whatever. That is not true. Oh well - wasn't my $20.
The internet in 2002 I like apples. I like pears. That’s cool. Yeah. The internet in 2021 I like apples. So you’re anti-pears then. No, I just prefer apples. So you hate pears. I never said that. ****ing pear hater. I don’t hate pears. Yes you do. You make me sick. Scum.
I went to a psychic in Ireland. she saw my wife wearing a medical suit like a lab coat / doctor I ended up marrying a chick that worked at clinique and wore a white medical lab coat.. probably see what you want to see ..hear what you want to hear What about Ouija board that ish is creepy..we had ghosts talking backwards and translated it later
No, i gave him no details beforehand. To be honest, it really didn't influence me to commit to the age of getting married and i really can't recall anything else he told me that day (without revealing my age, i can say that this was over 10 years ago). With that being said, going to a fortune teller that day was just on a whim and i came out with a whatever attitude. I still have a whatever additude about it today. Just glad i didn't go see a scamming gypsy driving a Corvette or high end BMW. Those are the ones you gotta watch out for
Laws are made to be broken, especially laws made by men. I pay them no mind and don't believe in them, especially physics.
I find it interesting how these folks get devoted followers( certainly did not think you were believing it). When I had a psychology course in college the professor talked about it. I also found those videos from James Randi which are awesome. Interesting to topic
I need to watch those. She definitely was spot on on some things. Things that were not generic. She was wrong on other things. The rest, you can apply your own meaning to and make them fit. It's very interesting though. Another interesting thing that will make me sound crazy... I did a sensory deprivation float tank and saw colors and some "shadow people"(her description, not mine). I told her about that, and she had a huge smile and told me I was a healer. Asked if I "lay hands on people", as she thought I did for a living. I told her I used to, and she said I need to look into Reiki and study it. Lol Can't wait to see the comments on that.
I used to have a little handheld thing that would ask you 20 questions and tell you what you were thinking of: It seemed like pure black magic f**kery. The thing was uncanny. It seemed supernatural, but it was actually just a really good, really simple decision tree, because it turns out that in practical terms, the options that human beings actually choose are pretty limited. They actually have a website that does what the device used to do, though having the whole internet behind it makes it seem a little less amazing. But the point is, you can set up a pretty simple decision tree, read a few expressions as you ask questions, and pretty easily deduce pretty simple things about any person that on the surface seem extremely random and hard to deduce, because people aren't as special and unique as they would like to think.
@EddieWasSnubbed I didn't read it as you believe it, more like got roped in to partake. If it's like pro-wrestling, where both the performers and the fans play along, then fine. Historically speaking with these John Edwards, Hollywood mediums or Clairvoyants, it's basically false advertising. In some cases, when people are desperate, like parents with a missing kid, mediums who take advantage of them for money, gives false hope, waste time on actual leads, and is generally just a d*ck move. The old form of psychics; like Miss Cleo seems to have died off. Like anything, people conning other people still lives on, be it with cults, or digital conspiracy theories.
Meh . . .. believing ain't hurting me . .. so why not It's for entertainment purposes only Saying it is a scam . . .is like saying music or TV is a scam If I am entertained. . . . no big whoop Rocket River
