Knock that down by 10% for NBA games and that means Green is going to shoot 60% ts for his rookie campaign right?
    That's how it works?

The one thing that slightly concerning is I doubt he's going to be this hot all the time from 3. He's going to have to drive a lot more but I think there will be more operating space to do that once he has a full NBA squad around him.

    B

He showed strongly in the area he was supposed to show strongly, his D and passing IQ was disappointing, but the man has a ton of time to improve and I’m excited to see him put in the work

I honestly don't know how his D was disappointing. He was adrift some plays when guarding off ball but he showed great promise with on ball defending.

He did show some struggle with traps and blitzes. Definitely needs to improve there quite a bit.

That HAS to be enough for his critics right? RIGHT? Werent there some people here criticizing his 61% true shooting in the GLeague?? LOL

There are also videos of his --- <GASP> --- good defense.

Man imagine if Crawford had anywhere near the explosion of Green back in the day. That would have been fun.

His off ball / team defense was really really bad, his on ball defense was not as bad but still wasn’t good, and his decision making and ability to get around screens was also really bad

He’s got a lot to improve on defensively, mostly with his IQ and decision making, but also his body

    B+

    Tighten up his handle
Don’t force passes especially since he’s not a gifted passer right now at least.
Box out and Rebound and less cherry picking (but that’s typical for a 19 year old kid)

    A+ future is bright

Can't wait to see how he improves on his already dynamic, NBA ready game

Anyone not giving an A is missing the fact that it's a "Summer League Grade". He was spectacular, and is making everyone question whether he should've gone first. Would he literally have to do everything perfect to get an A?

For reference, here are LeBron James' Summer League stats:
Averages: 15.8points, 7.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists on 36.9 percent shooting

I bet some posters here would've given him a "B" or "C" based on his bad shooting percentage.

An A for what his role will be with the team, an off ball scorer.

Some tried to miscast him as a primary ball handler, his performance suggests that's not the kind of player he is.... but that's not a bad thing. He'll fit in well on a team that already has their superstar primary ball handler for the future in KPJ.

Hopefully they both make strides defensively this year
