At least Dipo didn't tell Miami Heat or Rockets to pull out the Brinks truck only to get a min deal on his next contract
“New Orleans was willing to go to $90 million over three years or more, according to a source, but Lowry never leaned toward going there, according to the source,” wrote Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. “Lowry took three years and $85 million from Miami.”
But, but, but, being a small market team has nothing to do why players don't go there, and you just need to be a well managed team to attract talents...
Baby Giannis>>>baby Lowry Good pgs are a dime a dozen every year there are more pgs available than capspace to sign them.
I was scared when Rockets Org (out of politeness?) offered that extension mid year. Most folks on this board saw that he was washed. What seemed obvious I guess traveled slowly to the org. But then relieved when Home-Dipo quickly turned it down. Maybe Stone knew he was going to turn it down, so offered it anyhow. A bullet dodged, would have been a toxic asset.
Dipo and Schroeder digging through garbage cans right about now. "Look at that........still got some meat on it, save that for later..."
The thing that irks me about this whole situation is that Dragic has been mentioned repeatedly but not a peep about Dynex.
