25 pts in a game where he got pressed and he wasnt our main PG. For a rookie thats impressive..very efficient
Green's performance today does show you exactly why and how Harden dominated the league for so long. Being able to get to the line and hit FTs at a high rate completely changes the dynamics of the game. It forces the defender to play more passively, and it also pressures the opposing team's defense since they don't want to end up in the penalty. Sengun seems to have this skillset in the bag already, but hopefully Green can do this consistently too. It opens the game up completely and allows a lot of "quiet" nights to end up being 25 point nights.
Cummingam looked better but it was because he got single coverage... Jalen got ****ing trapped and doubled from the start LOL pistons are butthurt. And you now what, Cummingam looked better but Jalen scored more(25), had more rebounds and I guess assists on better fg%. This kid is so ****ing special I am telling you
Jalen gets outmuscled a lot I know that feel cause im similar frame and you now what? once he gains kilos and won't fall on every little push... there will be nothing to stop him. Imagine him playing his last 2 years scoring 20 ppg while falling at every contact. Going around people, outworking them, outsmarting them. And then you add strength to stand your ground this kid will be 35 a game
You make a valid point. Agree that Green was being heavily guarded but that is what I meant for him learning to adjust and not forcing it. Overall, I think Green will be better than Cade offensively but I can also see Cade doing a little bit of everything on the court which was expected out of him.
Green is the real deal as a scorer, once the team gets him in the weight room he could become a star.
I think Cade played better than Green, but Green still had the greater impact. Kind of like how Harden could go 8-20, and Joe Harris could go 6-6 from 3, but Harden would still have had far greater impact on the court than Harris. As Doris Burke said, Green did't even look like he had a good game, but then you look at the box score and he had 25 points on 11 shots, with +17.
So having an alternate opinion than yours makes one a hater? Genius! I wish Clutchfans had a way to ban immature keyboard warriors.
How dare of you to have a valid opinion and be a Green "hater" at the same time?! You must be a "fool" as per @Gimmmethemike
He is making a point of when Sengun has a solid position inside the paint, which he did at times, for easy layups or dunks and Green to be able to pass it to him for high percentage points. Green does not have to reduce his offensive game for this. Either way, I see green only getting better at this over time. They all are young and each of them is trying to prove worthy enough.
I saw a few bewildered posts of people saying "Are you serious" etc. and then I realized they must be responding to the poster on my ignore list. Some things never change.
