The Rockets are fun! Instead of grinding my teeth, I’m smiling. Can’t remember having such a good time watching Summer League. Sure, the regular season is a different animal, but you’d have to be blind not to see the talent we scored in this draft, and we haven’t even seen Garuba. Not only that, there’s some 25 and under Rockets talent not playing in Vegas. The future’s so bright, I ought to wear shades. I just don’t want to!
I wonder if Kyhri Thomas makes the 15 man roster, Idk if his deal is GTD or Non GTD, he'd be the guy to send down to the G-League. The 4 picks, if Garuba plays well in preseason, should be on the opening night roster. I still wonder if Gordon, Augustin, and Wall will be on the team this year, though Wall's contract makes him almost impossible to trade, and I doubt Stone will want to give up picks to just move him. But maybe I'm wrong.
just caught up on dvr. Not the best start but the good guys settled down including JG. Not his best game but the #s were still nice and efficient. He will cut dwn T/Os and respond better to trapping double teams. JC pleasantly surprised me. I like this guy. KJM has developed a nice 3 pt shot SenGUN is a nice nice pick up I can’t wait for the season to start!!!!
How is this team not a playoff team by next year at the latest: KPJ/Wall Green/Christopher Martin Jr/Tate Wood/Garuba/Tate Sengun/Theis/Garuba I'm just not seeing us being bad for very long at all. There's a ton of talent there.
Yeah. Memphis and Vegas are two different timezones. Wouldn't want to get confused and miss a flight or something.
Yeah, I think reality is going to set in when the regular season comes along, but wth... enjoy some poorly-executed plays and dunks while you can.
Jaygup got fans. Maybe that should tell you something about him. Lebron was hyping him up just the other day. Funny to me how these NBA superstars are on the Jaygup and Green hype train. These guys are respected in the hooping community by great players and were already social media stars in high school.
I just want Wall to swallow his pride and play like the veteran point guard that he is truly capable of. I remember the 19-10 game from him which led to a rare win. KPJ can't be expected to carry all the load.
Totally agree, a bought-in John Wall who gets the chemistry and wants to help the young guys is a valuable commodity to this team.
And I enjoyed it. In today's mucked up world, it was nice to see the contrast - the good, the bad, the beautiful. Heck, Sengun hit a three from Istanbul, Martin clearly worked on his own threes. There was a heck of a lot of good mixed up with those mistakes. This season is going to be fun, even if we win 20 games. Who knows? We might win a few more than that. If we don't? We own our pick!
