    Simple question: Would you trade winning the title in 99 for all this rebuilding success? Lets say that the Rockets had beaten the Lakers, edged the Spurs, pounded Portland, and knocked of the Knicks. Would they have had the same offseason? Probably not. So, would you trade all this rebuilding success for the championship then, and the cellar now?

    Let's see a championship in the year of the lockout and dropping to the level of the Bulls or our current rebuilding success?

    I'll take the current success. I wouldn't want to have to hear the "astrisk" comments associated with that title.

    What a dumb question... You always take a title whenever you can get it...

    I would love to have 3 titles right now...

    give me the championship. No matter how good your team is championships are hard to come by. There are a lot of great teams and players that never won a championship and we don't know for sure if this team will ever ascend to the championship. Being champions is what its all about.

    All this rebuilding for a title when you could have had another title in 1999.

    Title!!! No brainer about that one.

    Rebuilding is a continuing process. Titles are rarities you take whenever you can get them.

    A title is what it's all about. IF you could guarantee me our moves lead to future championshipS, I'll take it, but what else does our "bright" future mean than that we might be in line to possibly compete for a championship?

    All I ever wanted was a Rockets-Bulls Finals in 96..0r 97, but the 96 team would have had a better shot against them.
