Yup...I wonder if that was Altuve's decision (maybe saw Sano playing somewhat deep) or Dusty made the call.

It’s such a shame that it sincerely feels like these last 2 years have been wasted with Dusty…even though this is only one game it just constantly feels as if the team could win so much more if they weren’t being held back

Stros were gifted opportunity to win and still went limp. Best AL record is gone for now

Bullpen has improved but the starters and defense have been suspect the past few weeks.

Do better and split the damn series, please

So many losses to sub 500 teams this year should be a sign to not extend Baker after this year is done. These losses can and will come to haunt them later.

Exactly what could Dusty have done to win this game? No Bregman or Gurriel. Grienke had a 3-0 lead. Players have to play. Hit. Pitch.

Stupid Baker should have called for the homerun play with Altuve at bat in the 11th. And he definitely should have told Greinke not to give up 3 runs.

This is the worst baseball team ever against garbage teams. I'd rather play the Rays, Red Sox, and White Sox than Twins, Orioles, and Tigers.

We are gonna get swept by the Twins.

He should have thrown Maton or Montero in the 8th and saved Graveman or Pressly for the 10th. I said it at the time, I said it in previous games when he also used all his best swing-and-miss pitchers before extras and I’ll keep saying it when he inevitably does it again.

Preventing a run with a ghost runner is really hard and requires at least one K. If you might need to do that, have one of your best relievers ready vs using them on 6/7/8 with bases empty.

“I assume the batters, who have scored only 3 times in 8 innings, will score with no one on in the 9th” is stupid. They are much, much more likely to not score in the 9th but score in the 10th with a ghost runner.

    This **** ain’t that hard.

The lead over the Oakland Anabolics is down to 3 games.

Something wrong with a team that plays down to bad MLB teams. Lacking a killer instinct.

Also....the games are dam near impossible to watch.

Every time a sucky team shows up we hit a hitting slump.

Fix the bullpen...starting pitching and hitting goes into a slump.

If I had to sum up how I feel about our play the last few games, then it is this. My 14 year old yellow lab sh_t on my bed where she lay twice. And, I stuck my hand in it both times not knowing it just happened. Then, I had to run around with sh_t on my hand and clean up the hand and the bed. It’s the same feeling watching the Astros sh_t the bed. Well... .

LOL. You still have to score runs. Also, there is no assurance that those pitchers prevent the Twins from scoring in the 8th. You play for 9 innings and hope your offense comes through.

Teams go thru slumps. Look at the Red Sox. Cruising for most of the season. Now they are in a huge slump and are in 2nd place in their division.
