[NY Post] Cuomo refuses to resign, denies allegations in explosive AG report

Cuomo has always been a cynical opportunist, and I never liked him, but he has the right to face his accusers and have them present evidence, not die a political death to those who pander to the court of public opinion.

Those who defended people like Kavanaugh on principle should be just as consistent in their standards. Any partisan republicans who are seal-clapping over this should feel at least a little bit dirty for being hypocrites, and any partisan democrats who are now outraged have been pretty selective about the man's actual known improprieties throughout his career.

Either you are for truth and transparency, or you are for what is immediately politically expedient.

 

Politics by nature is about public opinion. Impeachment has never been a criminal exercised and being governor isn't a right.

Cuomo might very well be criminally charged too but barring that the legislature and people of NY have a say in whether they think he is still able or should be governor.

Cuomo Appreciation Thread incoming

 

He has to...... the vast majority of those in his OWN party want him to resign... he has virtually no support.

Also to a point he has reaped what he sowed.... for many years he bullied a lot of people, those in and out of his party, with threats and intimidation. He isn't (and never was much liked) by those that had day to day dealings with him. He was FEARED in NY because of his willingness to destroy and threaten people.

I remember in the heart of COVID, even before the allegations of any abuse came out......... I posted that Cuomo isn't really a democrat or a republican..... that is just a demi-god borderline fascist..... just like President Trump was..... the difference was Cuomo was by circumstance on the opposite side.

Guys like Cuomo and Trump are not really about political party, they are about themselves and power...... and the world will be a better place with Cuomo removed from office.... and his brother can get off my television as well.... both are self serving narcissists.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cuomo joins the Blago and Trump train of self promotion.
