decisions like that would haunt me 50 mil is still a ton of money, but when u could’ve doubled that simply by just not being dumb, it hurts.
being rich is a state of mind.... 50 mil or 100mil on bank account or no money on the account, the feelings of well being and security is what we all want, and you can get there regardless
Oladipo turned down a 2yr 45million from us earlier this year. And he will be lucky to get a 5million per in his next contract. Ouch!
Would you be interested if he wasn't from Houston? 35% FG and 18.5 % 3PT in his 6th season is truly garbage. It's no surprise every team that has given him a shot has given up on him.
One could argue that Winslow's still recovering from injury and knocking off rust, but he's never been good off ball and has never been efficient on ball either. He's had one season over 50 TS% in his entire career. He was an above average wing defender and passer but I've never seen him live up to the hype.
I wanted Lauri at the trading deadline. His team is probably asking for 24 mil per year or something crazy like that.
Rockets can do that then when their PG is 6'5 and could defend bigs in the post at elite level. Jaygup and Khyri are guards, would regress progress and/or growth to force them to play SF. Remember Porter with Cavs? Rockets need a more balanced roster.
These are such insane amounts of money, I really wonder if that ever impacts anyone's life in a substantial manner. Sure, you can't afford a $200Million yacht, but does that change your life? In all of sports, people always choose to go for money>happiness and it's really weird to me. If i can get a 3y $70M contract from a team and city i actually want to play for, isn't that infinitely better than 3 y $100M from something like the Twolves? Atleast to me happiness>money. Maybe I'm on a lone island on that front.
Would it be worth Eric Gordon to the Lakers for a sign and traded Dennis Schueder on a 2 year $40 mil deal?
Nah, let’s give Porter and green the ball. We don’t need a PG like Schröder who is solid but not worth 20/yr
