I would have walked Altuve if Meyers had gotten on base. No way I let him swing with the crowd yelling F*** Altuve!

Garcia/Castro/Pitcher/Altuve go 0-16.... coupled with Jake messing the bed just too much to overcome.

Meyers should start at least 4 games next homestand. Let see what he can do against team with losing records. I don't care much for Chas right now.

I’m not impressed with Chas either.

Would have liked to see him try and bunt or something to try and turn the lineup over for Altuve.

Represents what a Dodger fan is all about.

He probably thinks he's at a kickball game.

Absolutely correct.... him, Raley and Odorizzi being elsewhere would not break my heart. JMO

So, we didn't have our starting 1st baseman, 3rd baseman, closer, and we still almost swept them. I'll take it.

Great series. 1-1 not to bad considering the fact that we didn’t have Breg and Yuli available. I really like what I saw with the new relievers. Dusty and crews will have to figure out what to do with Odo moving forward. But we do have a replacement for him if needed. Not just Javier and Brown down in AAA as well. Easy schedule for the rest of the month of August. Let take advantage of the schedule and run away from AL west.

What the hell was Click and Baker thinking of getting Odorizzi? He's horrible and inconsistent as a starter.

They should convert him like they did Javier to the bullpen.

Ok…the schedule is set up to open up the lead. Oakland and Seattle’s schedules get rough.

He had pitched really well in '19 and 2020 was just a weird year in general plus he got injured. I guess they thought he was worth a shot especially with the rumblings that Framber was done for the season.

I'm done defending Jake Odorizzi. He's completely unreliable and I want no part of him in the postseason.

Robel Garcia..... It hard to explain in words just how bad he is. I immediately fast forward to the next batter every time. He's an absolute liability. I just don't get it.

Didn’t we just claim an infield guy off waivers that was hitting .350 or something in the minors. Why not give him a shot and get rid of Robel? I just can’t believe we don’t have someone, somewhere better than this scrub. Of course, Bregman will be back at some point.

I'm tired of hearing Bregman should be back soon. With regards to Robel, I don't care. I don't want him on the bench, I want him off the ****ing roster. It's unbelievable this guy...

    My thoughts from last night:
    - Any group of people willing to shout "**** so-and-so" at the top of their lungs, over a damn game, needs psychiatric help.
    - The Dodgers suck.
    - LA fans suck.
    - Jake Odorizzi sucks.
