I think KJ is best suited as a 3. I was not high on him but he showed more last year than I ever expected. He sort of reminds me of Corey Maggette. Hopefully he develops better perimeter defense and the gains we saw in his outside shot weren't a mirage. I think he and Tate could end up locking down the 3 with spot minutes at the 4 for a long time.

So move KMJ to SG and actually take PT from our actual SG Jalen Green? Or would you move Jalen to PF? Then Kevin Porter will be our PG and Christian Wood as our SF and Wall is going to be our Center? Where do I sign?!

For starters, he plays more like a 4 than a 3

I'm not sure the conversation needs to progress from there?

He has shown some potential to create like a SG. I’m not saying stop using him as SF, but getting him some experience in SG will really expedite his growth. The way Silas’ system works, all positions can easily switch out without too much dropping off. Getting him in at SG will help improve his perimeter defense and improve his overall flow quickly. I’m not saying take anything away from Green, but if you have a SF that plays like a SG, the game completely opens up for the player.

Think PG13 and Kawhi. Their ability to switch out really makes them difficult to defend. If KMJ can follow PG13’s development, I would be thrilled.

Don’t forget where Silas came from. The Rockets will look like the Clippers soon enough.

Like others have said this doesnt make any sense.

If KPJ develops his ball handling and perimeter scoring he can be an SF but SG doesnt make any sense esp since we got Jalen Green at that spot.

PG has played in the perimeter all his life.

KMart Jr played center since he was young, then PF/ in high school. He isnt similar to MJ at all except they can both dunk from 3 pt line.

Huh? Silas came from Dallas and prior to that he was with Charlotte, New Orleans, Cleveland, Washington and Golden State.

Where do the Clippers fit in? What am I missing?

KMJ is not a 2 in any universe and is in no way reminiscent of MJ.

Maggette could handle the rock and get to the hoop. KMJ has no handle.

I'm with you on him looking much better than I'd imagined....he's put in the work so far. (see his J)
That said, I think folks are expecting too much from the kid.

I remember starting some pretty awful threads in high school. Like, worse than this. Off the top of my head, "Which team would improve the most with Shaq?" We should have a competition to see who can write the worst hot take: "It's a guard's league: Bring back Yao as point guard 6th man."

I like Kenyon at the 4. His hops negate any height disadvantage on defense and being on the smaller size gives him an advantage on offense. I was most impressed with his outside shooting to end the year. If he's a legitimate threat from deep its going to open up some highlight downhill to the basket plays for him.

I like Tate as our 3 (yeah yeah yeah - I know. "Positionless". Shrug)
