Lol this is true. I haven't had any problems repping the Astros at Dodgers stadium (last Astros game I went to there was in 2018 so before the "scandal" broke), and it was just the typical ribbing. Night games a little more than the afternoon games, but yeah it's definitely a weird mix of fans and getting to the stadium is annoying because of the neighborhood its in. Interestingly enough most of the homeless in LA (and California in general) are actual locals who've lived there most of their life. I used to think it was people being bused in or something but that's actually not true according to the data, but I digress.
The Dodgers fans are the worst, but I’ve been surprised by how many different teams’ fans have come off like stupid, disgusting slobs. I remember some drunk scumbag repeatedly yelling “midget boy” when Altuve was batting in Buffalo. I’m supposed to believe all of this hatred is from good, honest people who just really care about the integrity of sign stealing in baseball?
There's always losers and dbags with liquid courage in every fan base. It's just more prevalent on more obvious teams like the Dodgers/Yankees etc.
My money would've been on Astros fan if it was just him and dumb Dodger fan. That was a hefty dude that moved pretty quick AND did not appear to be drunk, bad combo for Dodger fan.
It would be hard not to nail it considering Baker has consistently started Castro with Odorizzi pitching. With Gurriel ailing, they definitely want to get Alvarez in the lineup.
Most of those idiot Dodger fans are casuals who have no clue how/why Yordan plays for us. They just want to "rep LA", get drunk and yell cheater to the players all night.
