At this stage, I'd just say **** it and bring Gerald Green for a year. The love he has for Houston and his attitude would be great for the rookies.

Isn't he going to be out basically all of next season?

they gave up the 10th pick in this draft and a 2022 Lakers 1st round pick for the sole purpose of having enough cap space for Kyle Lowry, and then whiffed on it

now they have Satoransky and Devonte Graham, 2 guys who should be bench players, and they still haven’t added anyone who will help their horrible defense

If Griffin believed he had any chance at signing Lowry this summer then he's more incompetent than I originally thought.

Ok, I see that now. They did get the 17th pick back though and got Trey Murphy. Still a big L that they didn't sign anyone of note with the cap space they gained. Trajon Langdon is their GM? Who else is making decisions for this poorly run franchise?

Kemba getting a buyout from OKC only tells me there is absolutely zero market for Wall.

Seriously. That's some good money for a player that's a third option. It's a damn solid deal for Atlanta that they didn't overpay for his services and that no other team threw a max deal at him.

And he's going to the Knicks. They have their washed up, former big-name point guard now. I'm assuming this takes them out of any potential Wall "sweepstakes."

C'mon Clippers... you know you want him...

The Pelicans are the only option but they are being knuckleheads.

I think Clips would be our best trade partner... but it looks like we would have to wait until around the trade deadline.

I bet they re-sign Jackson on a vet min deal and Ballmer promises him a "place" in the organization when he retires.

But Reggie aid't a Wall... IJS... Jerry West pick up the phone and give Stone a holla.... right now Beverley & Kennard gets you a bargain.....

Just get John Wall out of Houston! lol

I feel for the guy, he's good for the community, he is just here at the wrong time, that's all. Nothing personal.

Mavericks really shat the bed so far, along with the Clippers and 76ers. Could still change of course. Still wondering if the Raptors will re-direct Dragic to the Mavs.

Idiot Pelicans may try to get involved last minute since they seem to be throwing money at everybody. I'm surprised they haven't been linked to Schroeder.

With the news of the Kemba buyout this morning, I'm holding out hope that something similar could happen for Wall at some point this season. Kemba's contract is obviously significantly less by about $20 million, but he's also a better player than Wall at this point in their careers. I just worry that if anything is going to derail all this positive momentum the Rockets have built from this offseason, it's going to be salty veterans taking away playing time from developing players and who ultimately want out. Having a repeat of last year's drama would suck.
