Covax is never going to get where it needs to go without one shot vaccines. The logistics of two dose vaccines makes this so challenging. People in rural areas have to travel long distances for health care so having to do it twice isn't feasible. Not to mention the issues of cold storage with Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. J&J is still so crucial to global vaccination programs as a result (but it requires that they figure out production and global distribution). Hopefully Merck can get those issues resolved for them.
I wonder if President Biden is driving a bus bringing them in? Or flying an airplane? He is so talented...
Biden is driving the bus full of immigrants to Florida and Boston and spreading it to those unvaccinated people.
Well, you do know that Democrats are doing that so they can win elections and spread the disease. Oh, and take away our jobs.
If Democrats hug trees and unwashed masses, how can they be the hateful villains Cons are portraying them to be?
The argument that not covid vaccinated is ok except if you are an immigrant is pretty amazing to see, but not surprising. Let's not forget that Biden and Trump have the same border policy. Let's also not forget that the Trump admin did not even provide flu vaccination to immigrants in detention, so what chances would they provide covid vaccination? Let's also not forget that Republican lawmakers complained (incorrectly) that the Biden Admin provided covid vaccination priority to immigrants (Biden admin provide covid vaccination to everyone on US soil prioritized in the same way for everyone).
NYC require proof of vaccination for indoor dining, gyms and entertainment https://abc7ny.com/nyc-vaccine-passport-requirement-mandate-covid/10926728/ NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- Mayor Bill de Blasio announced a new proof of vaccination requirement for most indoor events in New York City, believed to be the first such mandate by an American city. Dining at restaurants, working out at a gym, attending a movie or play will all require proof of vaccination starting August 16.
He can believe whatever he wants but playing in the NFL certainly isn't a right. The NFL can decide on keeping or cutting players for all sorts of things such as how much they weigh. They certainly can decide on this.
Maybe they can start their own vaccine-free league, with vaccine-free fans, and put whatever names they want on their jerseys: "VIRUS HATE ME,"' for instance.
Last year the NFL went through a ridiculous process of postponing games at the last minute when players tested positive for COVID-19. It not only messed up television schedules but potentially added to injuries as games were moved later in the week and created short recovery time for more players. This year the NFL came out and said there would be no game moves and any team that had players with COVID-19 missing games would have to either play with what they had or forfeit games. In other words... COVID-19 will now impact NFL wallets. As a result teams are trying to get more players vaccinated (I believe I saw a stat saying 90% of players had at least one shot).
