    Yep, basically an expiring contract in two years.

    Contract is safe and he’ll do his job, mentor the kids until at least one can take over.

    Also worth remember this was a free agent signing, not a trade. CHI won’t turn it into a S&T unless it benefits them.

    You have the guy on a 3 year deal with a team option for the 4th. He’s a good expiring to latch onto a package deal if need be by the beginning of year 3.

    To me it sounds like you’re still in 2nd grade.

    Chicago gets a trade exemption out of it I believe.

    Chicago was the recipient of Theis in a trade last year from the Celtics (contender-ish), they paid cash to make it happen too. (facts my be shaped to make my point.

    Great signing. Better defense than Olynyk. Could easily look just as sexy if not sexier than Olynyk in Silas’ system. I can’t think of a better player for Sengun to learn from.
