We sign a SHRIMPY center to replace Olynyk....did Giannas just teach us that HEIGHT matters.

You don't compete well with 6'8" centers.

For real, who is even available at this point? Any overseas talents waiting for contracts? Seems like a lot of signings already.

Green/KPJ/Wall are gonna get an extra 5 points a game just off of seals from Theis. Also a much better defender than Olynyk

Nice get for Houston. Wonder where he fits into the lineup. I hope He doesn’t play over Sengun

So Wood is the only player we have that's 6'10 or taller right?

I like Holmes a lot. He'll command more salary than that, IMO.

Not a lot of noteworthy guys who fit into the MLE. Malik Monk is an interesting name though. Not sure where the minutes would come from bearing a trade or two.

    Lol, what a joke.

if they will offer this dude one year 36 mils, it is still way better than this forking offer.

Well we played PJ Tucker at center for a whole year so I think we actually got bigger...

Theis got 4 years , Kelly O got 3 years.

It was either the difference in money (~$3.33m per difference) or they wanted a more defensive minded player next to Wood.

I'd have much rather had Kelly O for the money ....

Really strange. All I can make of it is that they prefer a big on the inside in a more traditional sense to compliment Wood. Theis is not the outside shooter Olynyk is. Put backs, boards, loose balls. Kinda expensive for that why not just play Garuba?
