Just a note: After Alvarez came in for Brantley (ankle), he fouled a pitch off his front foot. He did not look comfortable at all after that, either on the base-paths or later in the field. Am I deceived?
Yordan seems to be highly injury prone just like Bregman, Aledmys, Brantley etc.. So you're probably right.
The inference one may make from picking up a 3B is...not good. Hopefully they just want to replace Garcia.
And insurance against Diaz getting knicked up or if Yuli goes down and he has to play 1B... and no more Toro on the roster. Bregman is probably not going to be at 100% for the rest of the year. They need to figure out if he can still be effective both offensively/defensively at whatever number he plateau's at.

Though he's called an IF, he also appears to have some time at LF in case Alvarez is having issues with his foot. It gives us an extra utility guy with DIaz parked at third for the time being. Appears to have a little pop and huge SO numbers. Definitely not a regular.
