Surprised more people aren’t talking about free agency. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if Stone made a head turning signing this week. Kinda seems like a weak class of free agents but there’s gotta be another Wood in there somewhere.

I am not against it but only for the minimum that we can offer. Needs to prove himself before we give him the big bucks.

Signing Winslow and Theis sounds good. they dont need high usage and esp theis has a modern skillset. Winslow is low risk high reward if we sign him per vet min oder BAE

If you want someone that's not high usage, The kid from Eugene, Oregon will be available.

Didn’t we just have him on our roster in DJ Wilson?

There are teams with cap space that can maybe absorb some of the contracts of players who are basically dead-a$$ money to us.

    So one can hope.

Lakers will be desperate to keep him, so the right price is overpaying for him. You can poison pill him and give him a full NT-MLE offer and force the Lakers to pay some more in taxes if you really want to screw them over.

I dont feel they ahve the same skllsets. They are both bigs, I think wilson is a bit larger. But Giles showed signs of a refined passion game ,great vision that might show he has more Olynk type of potential as well. Wilson isn't a bad shooter, doesnt have the vision and playmaking ability

I think Giles, if it does work out may compliment woods, kpj, green better too. Its not a guarnatee but when you're picking at minimums you do the best with what ya got

THT is so overrated, please don't fall for Lebron trying to manufacture trade value. He's a below average shooting and defending player. Anyone would be good if they improved their shooting and defending lol.

I say go for undrafted players, better value for us.

    I like this.

A 3 and D wing on the cheap, that just needs to stay healthy.

Malik Monk is an interesting young guy shooter if we manage to dump Gordon and clear backcourt minutes somehow.

We don’t want Malik Monk to shoot, we want Jalen Green to shoot.

I'd love to give Zach Collins part of the MLE just to rebuild some value and trade mid-season for more picks. Would do the same for a vet wing or big like Theiss who can help mentor the kids for a bit then move for picks at the deadline. Holmes, Oubre, maybe Rose are some ok candidates for the MLE. There isn’t really any FA that I'd like on the team past this season but still we should use our resources to acquire more assets.

My hope for THT is that some team offers him over 20M just to screw the Lakers. They NEED to match that contract no matter what cause they're like 20M over the cap with just 5 players on the roster and have no other way of building out that team.
