The historical Jesus of Nazareth was white like all the natives of the area.

But for Christians, Jesus of Nazareth is also God and part of the Holy Trinity therefore he is also black, oriental, native american and every race.
Since God made humans to resemble him.

So it is not wrong to depict Jesus as black. We don't worship Jesus the man but Jesus the god.

The federal PAC helps to elect progressive district attorneys across the country to “fight to end structural racism,” according to the group’s website, taking in more than $3.2 million from 2019 to 2020.

Of those funds, Real Justice doled out $460,000 in “consulting” fees to three companies: Social Practice LLC, Bernal Alto LLC and Middle Seat Consulting LLC, which are controlled by some members of the political action committee, including treasurer Rebecca Bond, according to a report.

Other PAC payments included $46,330 to Janaya and Patrisse Consulting, a company run by Cullors and her wife Janaya Khan. Those payments were made between 2017 and 2020, according to the Federal Election Commission.

How did I miss this. Who cares what race Jesus is.. or statues about a made up figure. This would be like crying about a black Superman… Oh wait, OP will likely cry about that too.

 

I'd imagine he'd look more like a middle easterner, you know like those sand people we lovingly visited ~25 years ago.

I agree that images of white Jesus are racist. However, I'm not aware of any white Jesus images or statues that are maintained by the government. So I don't think there's much to be done here.
