I can't believe how good that draft was. I might even persist my league pass

that's what I call trust the process this mf Stone really does a good job. And you know what's best? if Brooklyn falls we have another great picks in coming years

im just so happy we get young dedicated guys with ton of potential. If it materializes that's great but the journey seems exciting now. I wouldn't stand watching John Wall fight with Woods for over the hill players 25ppg trophy flexing after nice plays at game 48 against Minnesota Timberwolves

I think they got it wrong. He is McGrady without height and without his scoliosis. The move at 0:29 is basically T-Mac against pistons, he studies him for sure

Kobe was a tier below MJ but people try to lump them together.

The main difference is Kobe never had to go through the really intense Bad boy Pistons not the 2004 version.

And he was handed a number of fellow superstars in LA.

Also I think MJ was one tier above Kobe in terms of athleticism and hang time, but that could be arguable.

If you compare Green, then it's Kobe, MJ is out of this world for now.

probably true. but let's also compare jalen to freshman MJ in college. back then nobody expected MJ to be as good as he became. intense training in the following years was a part of that

I am not sure how many titles the Bulls won before the MJ era but to me the owner, Krauss and MJ plus Scottie and role players did basically make and shape an entire franchise's history.

Yeah, you had Gilmore before MJ but there was no such hype.

I doubt any mortal could do that, make a perennial winning team not just any contender out of the ashes, from virtually nothing, in this era.

That is how rare it is, Scottie virtually earning nothing in the Windy City and then became this greedy man with Houston.

The No 23 guy was the most special guy in history.

But the whole gang, the 'triangle' coaches, the manager, the owner, everyone was special.

Kobe's own story is fabulous enough but it is nothing MJ like.

    Just a heads up

The NBA draft hat is pretty sweet this year (1st red hat I ever bought)

They have a fitted and a snapback version but the best part is the NBA 75th anniversary patch

Just got mine in the mail today finally

Look at the Celtics the year before Bird and the first year with him--but Bird was not mortal either.

I like where the rockets are going. Should be a really nice young team.

Dj Augstin - KPJ - Brooks - Wall
KPj - JC - Kyrie Thomas
    Green - Tate - Lamb -
Wood - Kj Martin - Garuba - Tate
    Theis - Sengun - Wood

Nice solid young 12. Whoever they bring in from D-league or let back in. Whatever they sign next summer or Draft. Maybe they sign a few more good free agents. Never less looking like right direction, and should be a team peaking in the next 2 years. Maybe a 2023 8th seed early appearance.

I dont know if these expectations are too much, but it should be pushed. They have the young nucleus to get to this here depending on health. They might sign 2 big Free agents, or even 1 in year or so, that could escalate this rebuild fast as well.

    21-22 35-49
    22-23 40-42
    23-24 46-38 8th seed???

They will probably trade Gordon, and buy out wall soon. These are vets that dont fit this time period anymore, and need to be moved. Unless the rockets feel they just need them to mentor youth, but sure is expensive for this for another year. Whatever pans out who knows. Gordon and wall need to run to playoff teams.
