For the way the Lakers punked Russ in 2019 playoffs, I'm surprised he wants to join Bron.

Technical analysis of a train wreck isn't needed. Just sit back and enjoy the show..

Westbrook has been the epitome of a journey speedster after OKC.

Woah..according to Shelburne's article after having convinced George to resign in OKC Russ went behind his back and told Leonard to team up in the Clippers.

But then Kawhi said nahh and called George right after and told him I like to play with you more and Westbrook is backstabbing you.
So George demanded a trade and Westbrook was left alone lmao

This is Game of Thrones stuff.

Not sure if I believe this. Why didn't we hear about this before?

I am sure it's not as dramatic.

Players talk to each other in private.

WB wasn't the only one begging PG13 to stay.

Anyone feel like copy and pasting the Ramona article for the rest of us CF brethren?

The team will go as far as AD takes them. Westbrook and Lebron are important parts of the team but they're not the key. The team is well constructed to maximize AD at the end of the day and that will be why they are going to be a championship contender

The Lakers roster moves of this offseason are a bit of enigma.

-People say WB is going to kill their offense. Yet, outside of AD and LeBron, they really did not have alot of reliable pieces on offense. Schroder was good, but could be wildly inconsistent. Really, Kuzma was supposed to be the spark, but he wasn't anywhere close to that. Most of all, they weren't a great spacing team to begin with and a mediocre 3 point shooting team.

-They also got Monk and Nunn who can give you some dynamic scoring at times and both are pretty athletic, something which the Lakers seem to be lacking in, especially against the Suns. Yet, the Lakers got older in the offseason.

-They did lose Caruso, as well who was a great piece. But, he's no Westbrook. Caruso was a good defender and can play both guard positions. Though, the Lakers could not bear the brunt of losing AD nor LeBron. They freefell almost out of the playoff picture. I don' think that would've happened, if they had a player, like Westbrook. He probably keeps them around 5th or 6th avoiding the play-in, maybe. Schroder is a good player, but he's no Westbrook nor was anyone else on the roster. I believe one of the hardest skills to have in the NBA (historically) is having a guy who can get you 22-25+ ppg, regularly for their entire career. Russ would've been able to win a few game with the Lakers supporting cast.

-They are super old, this year. Even from last season, but it is a win-now situation. So, it's understandable. Also, LeBron is probably going to retire within the next 2-3 seasons. They'll still have WB, AD, maybe Monk and THT. They can afford to go get another star or pretty good player, after LeBron retires. I actually don't believe they will fall as hard as people believe they will after LBJ retires. They won't be bad enough to get a high draft pick. If AD left or got traded, it would be different story. But, he is the cornerstone for the foreseeable future.

Lebon is already on record saying he's playing at least 4 more years. And he definitely has that goal in mind at least in case Bronny makes it into the league. That's more than enough motivation to keep him going til then

westbrick for the lakers is flat out dumb, always was. nothing has changed with that lol

It's only the logical scenario to go after Giannis.

He is pretty durable. And he could be pursuaded after the championship if he wishes a change of scenery.

(Most likely a trade but could wait the next 4 years)

Argument being he already accomplished his mission for the Bucks.

I see Golden State and LA in pole position as the first suitors, then Dallas and Miami.

    2nd guy Luka.
