He is unfortunately not a guy we can depend on anymore, though. His last two years have been injury riddled and mediocre as hell.
I'm a little more bullish on Bregman, but I agree with your sentiments overall though. His health has been pretty spotty.
Atleast we know who will replace Verlander in a couple years making 30 plus million and sitting at home all season.
Still holding out hope that Breggy was being super cautious and the first twinge of tightness, he went ahead and removed himself from the game.
You seriously think he can be depended on to be a stalwart in the lineup once October rolls around? Hope you're right. And he honestly has been mediocre as hell the last two years especially in comparison to his '18 and '19 seasons. Not sure why he decided to gain 20 plus pounds of muscle after hitting 40 bombs and almost winning mvp.
What a great write up. Thanks for posting. Extremely thorough and well-written. My only quibble would be flipping Melendez and McDermott but that writer obviously knows his stuff.
Norel Gonzalez and Marty Costes promoted to AAA Bryan Arias, Ty Brown, and Matthew Barefoot promoted to AA
