Almost like. (Daryl to Elton)... you're going to be here and watch me fix this.

    * Forgot Elton's contract, maybe 76ers still want some work out of Elton, since they're obligated to pay.

Some of these proposals, DM's rep is taking a hit, comes with the job and big paycheck I guess.

I would consider this, if even legit.

This Lindbergh guy never gets anything right.

But there's always a first time.

I’d only take Simmons if he agrees to play the power forward spot. He’s a liability at either guard position. Simmons at PF intrigues me, Simmons at PG and having to figure out how to Westbrook proof the rest of the lineup with 2 bigs that can shoot makes me cringe. Much easier to build around him at that spot because typically your PG, SG, and SF should at least be respectable shooters. Now you only need 1 competent big that can shoot next to him instead of finding 2.

    Agree.

Imagine Simmons, Green, Christopher on fast break?

    Porter
    Green
    Tate
    Simmons
    Wood

    Bench:

Sengun, Garuba, Christopher, KJ, Khyri, Snipa

imagine going from trading Simmons for Harden to trading Simmons for John Wall…that would no doubt be a top 5 L for this decade

I think that’s a lineup you can make some noise with. Optionality at its finest. Highly skilled from 1-5 with guys that can do multiple things and play multiple roles at a high level. Then you figure out what pieces you need to add around it via trades or free agency along the way.

How about trading Wall for Elton Brand? Brand can teach our young bigs how to score and defend in the post.

    Highly skilled, more DEFENSE.

And team not all under 6'6 + Wood.

    Win-Win.

    League is blackballing Morey?

Toronto: Asks for VanFleet, Lowry, 4rth pick, OG

Spurs: 4 FRP, 3 swaps, 1 young player

    GSW: 7, 14, Wiseman, Wiggins, 2 FRP

How is Morey getting blackballed? He is getting in touch with these teams and having trade dicussions with them. Morey is just making absurd demands thats why he is getting turned down. Last year he got Danny Green and Seth Curry so its not like he is frozen out by the league.

But when a team like GSW opens discussions with you and you say you want Wiseman, Wiggins, 7, 14, 2 FRPs, and a partridge in a pear tree how you thinks talks are gonna progress? These stories are prob getting leaked cuz other teams are annoyed Morey is wasting their time.

    Huh?

Harris is a top commodity according to Morey if Simmons is worth 4 FRP and 3 swaps Harris prob gonna cost Wall, Green, Sengun, Wood, Garuba, 5 FRP and 6 swaps.

In light of our past relationship Morey gonna cut the Rox some slack and let them keep Hurt and Josh Christopher. If Stone begs him maybe Morey adds defensive porsche Thybulle and brokeshot Maxey to sweeten the pot.

Morey is little desperate; he now realizes the sixers aren’t serious contenders. LOL and that their superstar is indeed not the guy. Embiid needs help, bad.

He’s trying to to dump Simmons (funny Stone recently turned down a trade for Tobias harris too).

I'm not sure he is trying to dump Simmons since his price is sky high. If you remember Dipo was supposedly the center piece of Harden trade but Rox traded him for improvement of draft position in a Heat swap. That's Stone trying to dump Dipo and ensure he gets at least something before Dipo leaves in FA.

Maybe Morey is still high on Simmons thats why he is making his offer unreasonable so nobody will trade for him.

I don’t know how anyone can still be high on Simmons. I’m just happy we dodged that bullet.

Only way Simmons becomes interesting to me is if he moves to the 4 (and stays there)

    Not serious contenders?

#1 ranked team in the East.

A healthy 76ers would have wiped Bucks off the floor.

Morey running same team back is not the end of the world like media is making it out to be.

Bucks got lucky that both Nets and 6ers were not 100% in postseason.

I would even consider sweetening it. Our roster could use an old man of 25 to mentor the teenagers.

Roster also has other "young" 25 year old potential "core" team members.

    Wood
    Tate
    Khyri

Simmons would fit in great, not just his skillset.
