Doesn't matter who is up. Swing away. If batter sucks bad enough not to swing away, pinch hit with Greinke.

Mariners probably missing Graveman... they have lost to walk off HRs two days in a row to the Rangers

We will see Jake Meyers right? I think only him and Garcia remaining on the bench with the pitcher due to hit....

They did fine against the Red Sox. They’ve done fine against the A’s. They did fine against the Rays.

now, none of that matters as they’re all small sample sizes… as is this series. As is also the playoffs.

Guess you never watched Oswalt pitch, especially in the 2005 NLCS.

3 different types of fastballs. The curveball he once featured was shelved.

Well, they did score a third run, but an L it is. At least Myers batted.

So Dusty was worried about putting Meyers in a tough spot, so he sends him out there to face a teams closer as the last out.

    GTFO with this nonsense Dusty

One good thing is that the Astros main competition for best overall record in baseball are in brutal divisions (NL West and AL East). White Sox could be an issue though. Giants are legit though and don't appear to have the best record by smoke and mirrors.

I don't recall seeing a catcher hold the glove so high for a target

They had zero respect for Jake

People in their first MLB PA tend to be more than a little jumpy.

Perfect spot for Dusty to put him in.

It's easily arguable the previous situation had more pressure.

But I understand you wanna ***** about something

Crazy right. He even PH Castro before Meyers. He literally had a chance to give the young dude a chance in a less pressure environment TODAY.

Last 30 days haven’t been kind to our ERA.
    Grienke 3.67
    McCullers 3.96
    Valdez 4.44
    Odorizzi 4.64

We don’t have an elite number 1 on this team. Usually doesn’t translate well come
Playoff time. Framber was the number 1 last year, doesn’t look the same at this moment.
