    So much was riding on these young pitchers continuing to be above average. The arrow is trending down on Valdez, Garcia and Javier. Greinke is running on fumes every other start. Odorizzi has been a poor acquisition for the Astros. I sure wished Click could have got another starting pitcher. The cupboard is looking bare.

    Disappointing JV is spending no time with his teammates. Yeah, he's injured and has a newborn, but he's still getting paid and he's still an Astro. He hasn't been in the dugout this season or last year
