    Meanwhile, their almond and pistachio farmers like Wonderful literally control the flow of water across the state to their water intensive farming while other people have to ration like crazy and fight just to have water.

    Sounds like a great move - if their grid is getting overloaded and this is the reason, then do what you must.

    I would like to see that if you generate your own power that these restrictions are moot, though.
