Danuel House needs to go. New age JR Smith, he might be better on the Lakers or some other contender.

EG I'd like to keep. Dude is a professional and you always want one of those guys in the locker room.

Wall should stay simply cuz he is expensive to move.

They will take most of the minutes we wish to use developing the new players and due to their proclivity for injury they will cause the new players to receive highly inconsistent minutes which would diminish potential cohesion. If the coach benches them or just significantly reduces their minutes they will quickly get upset.

Further we could probably bring in a player or two we might even keep OR added future flexibility.

thank you David for this amazing work.

hope we can mix our young guns with "good" veterans.
this could be a team with strong bonds.

There are so many teams that appear to be operating that way. The Knicks, for example, have zero dollars on the books after this year. Zero. There are many teams that will have room for two max players over the next two years.

They won’t all get their targeted players. Where they will mess up is giving a guy the max that is almost worth it. You should only give that money to guys that play above that level.

I saw Zach Collins didn’t get his qualifying offer.

He missed all of the season and just reinjured his foot, but I wonder if he’s worth taking a chance on with a cheap multi-year deal, understanding he may miss virtually all of this season? This would be similar to the Nwaba situation from before last season. Foot injuries for big men are no joke, but he’s clearly talented and only 23 years old.

I seriously doubt there is any other community of a basketball team as informed about their team's cap situation as we are thanks to you Bima!

    Well done!

He's amazing. We've always been lucky when it comes to having good "capologists" at @ClutchFans. Still do, and Bima might be the "Capper." In fact, he should have The Capper under his moniker. He deserves it.

If the site is updated accurately, and I think it is…

average age (1st is youngest 30th is oldest)

    OKC : 23.3 years (1st)
    HOU : 25.2 years (13th)
    UTA : 27.9 years (29th)
    LAL : 31.2 years (30th)

But yeah I imagine you replace Wall and Gordon with a couple of younger guys and we are near the youngest for sure.

    Clutch,
I know you were worried about Sengun’s defense and I know it’s only summer league, but you’ve got to be pleasantly surprised by his ability and willingness. I’m not saying he’s Draymond Green, but I’m really impressed. Aren’t you?
