Do you think Josh Christopher was the best prospect available? Do you think him being friends with Jalen and KPJ and also training with Lucas 3 was not a factor in drafting him there? Obviously, as I stated, the goal is to get the best prospect possible. I'm pointing out a great by product of the draft. We're not children in here and realize what a GM's job is.
What an odd take. I didn't say anything "hateful" about anyone. What I said should be obvious, even to those drinking the kool-aid when it comes to Green. He might become something special one day, but as of right now, he's not as proven as Sengun and he's not as good as KPJ or Wood. In no way should those facts be controversial

I agree with your take even as a Jalen Green fan myself. I truly expect him to be really damn good by mid season though and not "someday".
He is part Filipino and the kid is proud of it. I'm all for it especially if it would put more butts on those empty seats at Toyota Center.
I think that counts as "someday", he could show quickly that he's improved since he was in the G league, it could take longer. I'm not sure one way or the other so I left it open ended. Personally I want the Rockets to yeet Wall the hell off the team so that Green can start next to KPJ. Throw him into the fire early and see if it can speed his development. Unfortunately I'm not sure that can happen with Wall's contract.
Yeah that's something I am truly afraid of as well. I think we would have to attach an unprotected 1st if we truly want to give up either EG or Wall.
