    I put 11…just outside the play-in.

I expect our shooting and defense to be better. KPJ might take the leap forward into legitimate stardom too.

I also expect A LOT of turnovers with so much youth on the roster.

Whoever voted 6th seed is delusional.

30 seems high to me ..... that's a jump of 11 wins (adjusted for last season being only 72 games). That's a .134 (13.4%) more than last year .236 meaning they win ~37% of their games.

I'm thinking more along the lines of 24-26 wins .... and being right in the mix for a top 6 pick.

Would love to overachieve but lose in the play in tournament.

Give the young boys an early taste of playoffs but still get a lottery pick.

    Easily make the 7th seed.
We were on our way until injury

Too young to know they not suppose to be this good
Silas has a bunch of players that he can make his own
Honestly .. . their careers will be based on what he teaches them
about basketball and being a professional

Most coaches don't get to mold players like this. .

6th seed until some mofo starts a jinx thread. "We" end up with 32 wins but everyone's game takes a next step. Gordon traded to a contender at the trading line. 32 wins is like 11th seed.

QUESTION: Do we even want the Lotto Next year?
I mean . .. IF we are. . . .what does our prospect be?
We win to 3 but have to trade it or some such?

The rebuilding window aligns well with the Rocket's pick ownership situation. The Rockets will control their own pick until the 2024 draft, and since rebuilding is a multi year process, the Rockets should optimize and tank for 2 more years.

Even if Stone hits jackpot with Green, Sengun and Garuba, they realistically will need a few more year to develop. The Rockets should target a 3 year re-building window, aim to get a high draft pick for two more years, and aim to be competitive in 2024.

    Let's pick top 3 again!

I would just play the young guys. Let Wall be "injured" for most of the season, unless we start winning too much. Then unleash his selfish Tank Commander ass for a few games.

Yup and then strengthen the team with FA money and keep the Nets picks for down the road. The team should be stacked for years to come if done correctly or even half correctly.

More than wins this season should be judged by figuring out what the Rockets have:
    1 - Is KPJ a 1 or a 2 that can distribute?
    2 - is Tate more 2/3 or 3/4?
3 - Is KMart's play post bubble sustainable?
4 - Is Wood injury prone?
5 - Are Wall & EG movable without attaching assets?
6 - What do the Rockets have in their rookie class?

End if the day the Rockets are too young to compete but too good to be bottom 3 bad. With luck they get a top 5 pick but I'm expecting 5-10.

Same. I think that would be around The Kings this year and they chose 9th in the draft.

While I think we could be better, I'm hoping for last place again. Don't mess up the rebuild with meaningless wins now. We gotta tank for 2 more years.

A bottom 5 team. Young teams don't win.

Hopefully, he gave legendary Tank Commander Scott a call for advice.[IMG]

Not as bad as last year since chemistry will be better, more hungry players, though depends on which veterans are here and what role they will play. I’d say 12-14 range in the standings.
