That is the time that would be the freshest in my memory. Howard Eisley made a name for himself playing significant minutes as Stockton's backup. Sloan always took him out of the game at the exact same time in every game.

 

So are you putting Harden on the same tier as LeBron, or a tier above or below?

 

Yes and no. Stockton is #10 in total minutes played, which is not exceptionally impressive compared to some other long careers. (Kidd is the only PG ahead of him.)

The most interesting thing is that LeBron is the only ACTIVE PLAYER who is in the top 20. The next guys are Melo at #27, Iggy at #44, Dwight at #50, and CP3 at #57. These guys are all over 35 years old. Only Chris Paul is a PG.

 

Year 2024... Chris Paul is still getting paid 30M+ per season.
