Him and Wood are close. I can see them bringing him back on a minimum contract.

 

Lulz. The Rockets didn't draft 2 bigs to resign Olynyk. There is no reason to do anything but tank next year with the young players and a few veterans.

I like that you think Olynyk is going to lift us out of the cellar.

 

You don’t draft a 2nd pick to come off the bench. You absolutely have Gordon come off the bench white green starts. You will shatter his confindense

 

Also, Gordon has averaged 32 games played over the past two years. And that's while playing the fewest minutes per game of his career over that stretch. He's fragile and needs to come off the bench and have limited minutes to protect his brittle bones.

To start the year. Improve Sengun's lateral quickness and spike his gatorade with HGH, maybe he'll grow a couple inches into the true "Jokic" size and style center everyone is hoping for. Until then, bring him off the bench ala Dmo. You could slide Garuba to the bench and insert Sengun into the starting lineup but ultimately I'm higher on Garuba than I am Sengun and I think early big minutes could help shape Garuba into the Draymond/PJ kind of talent we want quickly. The team remains shallow so we can make a run in the lottery again next offseason & to allocate big minutes to our young players
