Well....... we know a few things...... the Astros didn't really like Straw that much.......they love their CF in SL...... they don't give a **** about what conventional logic is. They dealt away their starting CF with 10 minutes lefr.
The Astros player evaluation and player development people have proven they know what they are doing..... if they aren't concerned, then I am not concerned.... there is someone in AAA that has a better glove, has power and a better bat..

I would rather have Jake Meyers called up playing in CF than McCormick playing everyday. Astros need players that put the ball in play more than striking out.
I don't like this. I would rather have Straw on the bench as a pinch runner/defensive replacement in the playoffs over another 4 plus era reliever....
Alright then. Didn't we win game 5 of the world series in 2017 with a fast base runner? Straw was that guy? What did we get for him? A less funny Biagini?
We’re also getting a catching prospect as well. But still kind a downer to trade straw although I think Meyers will do great. He should be fine defensively. Hope he can hit HR against other teams beside Orioles.
