    Mobley really did come across as a bit of a momma's boy tbh. Just seems like a really passive personality, not that that's necessarily an indicator of anything as far as his career goes. I much prefer a player with some fire tbh.

    Jalen was living on his own at 18-19. Earning money to provide for his family. He's had it on the line for years. HE COULD NOT FAIL in his mind. That type of hunger is inspiring. Evan has been blessed. Stable home life, loving parents. No struggles and therein lies some pitfalls as they age.

    How can you learn to pick yourself up if you have never fallen? Evan Mobley can fail and his family would be fine. Dad makes a bunch of money and they could open a business or go into coaching and never have a care in the world. Jalen has people counting on him. Im sympathetic to that pressure.

    I like the way that he looked over after that and said H-Town.

    The charisma on this young man is incredible.

    He reminds me of Carlos Correa. Just completely meant for this.

    i am having visions of the next kobe. i love how he says he wants to be first team all defense and lock ppl down. he is saying all the right things, saying he wants to do whatever it takes to win. he should soon be a fan favorite. we will forget about harden real soon.

    Reminds me more of a Tiger Woods or Williams sister type vs. a Kobe type. He had his stepfather just pushing the hell out of him to be great. If you haven't watched this, it really shows how incredible his story is.

    If he loves Houston, we will love him back and defend him at all costs.

    He has me hyped already. Thank goodness that it will be a short offseason from this point out.

    Same here man. I know we didn't win much with Francis, but he loved H-Town and that was very much appreciated.

    Wife said "oh we drafted Whitney Houston " . I'm eager to see what this kid has , haven't really been into the game the last couple of years as I didn't have much faith in playoff Harden but new beginnings are exciting .

    Brian Shaw coached him in the G-league and he said that Green during practice sessions was ALWAYS the guy who would win suicide drills and lead teammates as a tone setter in practice kinda like dare I say it... Kobe.

    This guy definitely had that right type of personality to reach superstar status unlike someone like Wiggins or Clarkson who have the all world talent coming into the league but never panned out.
