Vrenz Bleijenbergh needs to be Summer League Invite

This guy is a great prospect, but he's going to stay in Europe. I have a feeling he didn't get drafted over a buyout or something. Though, I know nothing when it comes to this, his Twitter makes it seem like he won't sign undrafted because of it.

Not sure how this works now that he's undrafted. Can he re enter next year's draft? Can a team just use an MLE to buy him out and sign him?

What's the record for number of rookies on one team? I'd like to take a flyer on Vrenz but we already have so many young players to develop.

 

Sure why not. Just make sure he pays for his own flight ticket and hotel. I got this new Bubba Gumps menu entree to try.

 

At this point he's better off staying in Europe instead of coming over.

Once you earn a rep over here it's hard to shake it. Improve and succeed over there for a year or 2 then come over here on your terms instead of taking scraps and non guaranteed deals.

 

Seems unlikely due to some contactual issues. He needs a guaranteed contract or so he claims. Unwilling or possibly flat out unable to sign a 2 way and get out of his current contract in Europe.

He wasn’t first round material but I would have taken a late second round flyer on him - there was a lot of talent in the second round though
