I hope that after the Rookie of the Year his next goal will be the Finals MVP.

I think Wall will eat into Greens minutes which the media will knock him for plus Cade is hella hyped right now and we all what happens when the media runs with a narrative.... otherwise he would be a good bet

No he won't... Houston is going to trade Wall for scraps that can eventually be traded for pieces we need.

He needs to work with John Lucas every summer with some great guidance. Hang out less in places and with people that will get him into trouble. It's not about winning a personal accolade. I want John Lucas in that locker room maturing the kids we have.

Everything I've read says he's already there; wants to be picked first and win ROY, sure, cuz he feels he's worked that hard and he's got that self-confidence killers need. But on-court he's team-oriented, just wants to help the team win. Needs to work on things but is already on it, watching video to improve his defense and playmaking. Seems to be all about other people.

His post draft interview kinda made me feel like he is all about himself. When asked about his goals it was all personal achievements (including max contract). No talk of playoffs championships or even finals MVP.

Now he is a 19 year old kid on the most surreal day of his life so I won’t hold this against him - but I do hope that he really is about team success - the other stuff will come then as well…

You have points... I don't know the man, I guess we'll hafta see. Assuming the best, preparing for the worst... Counting on the Rox to keep all these young dudes on the right track.

I'm hoping he's seeing the individual stuff as a sign that he's helping his team achieve great things (?)...

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say all 19 year olds--NBA players or not---tend to think about themselves first so I'm not worried. I'd be more concerned if he didn't have any goals at all and said "I'm just happy to be in the NBA".
