    Agreed.

Now tell them to drink some milk and work on their defense.

I need longer players and few more over 6'7 would be really nice.

Some still 19 or younger so there is hope.

    yep
and a #2 who’s kinda pissed off he wasn’t the #1 pick. He’s our #1 pick and I like his mindset and desire to improve

Overall take aways from tonight: Youth, Potential, and Motor.

All the guys drafted with Porter, Martin, Wood and Tate already on the Rosters ooze this. This team may not win many games this year, but they could easily be a handful for any team they play if they imbibe a hard nose dog mentality and don't play scared. Just imagine the practice battles of Green/Christopher/KPJ/Segun vs Tate and Garuba. Heck the Rockets could easily sell tickets and streaming services for those practices given how entertaining they could be.

Seeing the group of players they picked, I'm wondering is some Triangle Offense principles could really help them out in the half court. I think it may be the best way to utilize Segun's current skill set. Not sure how much Silas uses it or likes it though.

Otherwise, I would love them to take advantage of all the youth and convince them to go out and try to be one of the best defensive teams out there based on hustle and athleticism, and then pile on fast break points. It will definitely break at points due to inexperience, but it would be a great for their development.

I mean "this is our NBA title" as in this is the best thing this organization is capable of. Tildo and Co are not capable of creating a winning team. The best thing we can do is have an exciting draft. That is our version of an NBA title.

Did we draft a new owner last night? If not, there is a ceiling.

Uugh. Can't go anywhere on this site without the incessant Tilman hate. The Rockets just had one of their most successful drafts and things are set up real nice for the future.

Really can't give it a rest for one night?

cmon bro - its time to start healing and looking at things from a more positive perspective. Stone and Silas obviously had a plan and vision in place for what they wanted this team to look like. Did you see all those hapless teams going "BPA" last night and not making any sense whatsoever? Wall, KP, Green are all going to keep Wood happy because he's the most consistent on the team. Wood will get his - if he can stay healthy. Which is good for us because by the time the kids are ready to compete for the big prize we can either max out Wood if he's deserving or cast our line for the biggest fish in the pond. We'll have a ton of money and hopefully young, star talent to attract whoever we want.

Morey taking Bassey chaps my hide. Same for Jericho Sims was hoping we may get a chance at them as UDFA.
