We really just scooped up the best perimeter scorer, best post scorer, and best defender in the same draft.

I haven't really seen this kid play and only saw some highlights. How is his defense and what is his upside?

His game reminds me of a younger, taller Scola, or footwork reminiscent of Kevin McHale. Some Pau Gasol similarities too.

Only issue with that I think would be the fragile ego of KPJ which would cause issues.

But I am loving this kid at #16.

Fresh off watching Giannis... the footwork and control this kid has in the post is a thing of beauty.

Here's hoping we have our very own Scola and Sabonis Jr baby in the making.

Sengun is a great consolation prize for missing out on Mobley, this makes the Green pick much stronger.

Plus their future defensive stopper in Garuba, and Green's future backup with Christopher. Fantastic draft.

I like how the Sengun draft pick thread dwarfs the Green draft pick thread. lol.

His footwork is outstanding. He can put anyone on skates in the post. A little dreamshake-like, and he can still get better. I absolutely love this pick. Kept hoping we would trade 23-24 to jump up and get him, but the outcome was even better than my wildest dream for tonight.

He's a lot more athletic than people are giving him credit for.

OKC fans are a little salty about the trade.

They've had a bit of a meltdown about it lol.

I don't blame them. They have no center and the 2nd best center in the draft fell to them and they then traded the pick away. It has to suck to keep being told "Next year we'll make that big move" when they didn't even have to make the move to get Sengun. He was right there. They still would have had their treasure trove of picks for their big trade.

I’m super excited about this pick.

mind you i 100% realize the problems of not supreme height, questions on lateral defensive quickness, and no evidence of a three point shot might mean he never really gets there…

but, when it works … it’s fun as **** to watch and root for these types of players.

i watched a lot of Jokic and Sabonis this year and man… those guys are fun to watch. Jokic won MVP so clearly others agree.

I don’t see MVPs here… but lean fairly optimistic. His 3 point % wasn’t great… but only on 21 shots and he shot 81% from the line. Just don’t think he’s been asked to shoot threes yet. His defense isn’t amazing but has its moments and he tries.

and when euros succeed so far it’s been the ones that have been dominating their leagues already, have just an innate knowledge of the game and their skill set and how to get what they want, and continue to bust their ass improving and just trying hard out there.

Sengun seems to have all that.

    very intrigued.

Footwork is elite in the post, plays above the rim and great in transition, not sure about the defense though there are plenty of shot blocking highlights.

    Looks really good.

Damn she's got a sexy accent. Reminds me of Gal Gadot.

    I'm in love
