i remember the 30+ page thread about everyone throwing a b**** fit assuming Tilman would make Stone would trade the #2 pick. Can y'all keep that in mind and shut the hell up next time?
You think he should have taken Suggs with the 2nd? He definitely reminds me of Brandon Roy (I'm extremely excited about Green though).
If Stone hits big on 2 out of the 4 players drafted and the other 2 are solid NBA role players this draft will be a massive success. What's next before next season?
He averaged 18ppg with 36% 3 point shooting...as a 19 year old...vs grown men that were star players on their college teams (and he's stupid athletic). What more do you want, sir?
To be fair to Morey, he never had the #2, or enough first rounders to have a draft like this. The rockets were in win-now mode for almost a decade.
A+ good all-around positional strength players were selected in this draft. There are so many existing and incoming talented hopefuls in the Rockets team that I hope egos do not clash. Silas has a tough task ahead of him. But excited to see Wood/Sengun/Tate/Green/KPJ lineup!
So, Poor man's Westbrook Poor man's DMo rich man's Tate Poor man's Austin Rivers and that's the draft.
That's still not a #2. The drop off from a top 3 pick is massive. I think Morey was intelligent enough to get that type of pick right. Anywho, the point is moot -- Stone is the GM and so far he's done a great job. The future will determine that, however.
Trying to get Wall off the books. I actually don’t mind Gordon. He would be a good mentor to these kids
It wasn't that long ago when we were afraid we were going to get the 18th pick. So it's hard not to be pretty thrilled with Green, Sengun and Garuba! .... and Christopher I guess
Stone crushed the most important picks. Don’t really understand #24, but who cares, overall at least an A if not A+
