I'm not sure what to make of this trade.

The lakers needed shooting and a secondary offensive option. They also needed to dump trash for better players (aka Harrell and Kuzma).

Russ def isnt a shooter, but he can eat up all the possessions Lebron and AD can't handle. WB isnt the most efficient, but he brings value by taking over the entire offense which allows Bron and AD to take a breather. Losing KCP def hurts though, but maybe they can get more guys via FA to fill the void.

I'm not crazy about this trade, but to be frank Russ' net impact is better than Harrell and Kuzma so it's still a win. Personally though I think a dude like Chris Duarte would prob help them more than Russ tbh.

The Lakers are the Yankees of the NBA. Flailing away going after big names. Sound and fury signifying nothing.

I love this trade. Now I can root against the Lakers, Russ and Lebron all at the same time. It's beautiful!

    Love this trade.

Completely eliminates any chance that commie d**k sucking POS LeBron ever competes for another title in LA

seems like a terrible trade. You need shooting and you get another guy who can't shoot.

Westbrook has never played with a big as dynamic as AD or a player as all-around good as LeBron. There's memes to be had, yes, but I think the Lakers are going to be a fun team to watch.

This will be hilarious if Westbrook plays Harden in the Finals next year.

Lakers just really need health. If their big 3 are healthy (even just Lebron and AD), they will always be in the mix. If not, they won't. Shooting makes things easier, obviously, but all of their unique skill sets can create a mess for opponents even without great shooters.

Lakers Big 3 vs Brooklyns big 3 in the finals next year? That would be very interesting....

Just do not see Russ/Lebron chemistry. Both need the ball to be successful. Russ is below average on offense without the ball even with a good passer like James as we saw with Harden/Russ combo.
