Is one of the quotes said about Randall Cobb returning to Green Bay. Also his teammates said he looks like he just got out of prison.

These two things hit the nail on the proverbial head for this entire franchise and the state it's in.

It starts at the top. We need new ownership or a new team. It’s a hard realization for those of us that have been rooting for them since 02. I have no faith in Cal to turn this ship around.

    Exactly my point.

We're not only a start up, but we're a start up that's making money, only to have the boss's kid take over, even though the kid hasn't slept any time learning the business. Every competent employee knows he'll run it to the ground, and there's nothing they can do about it.

New owners that are football fans and actually care about the team having success would be nice.

Except for the fact that Texans fans (the few left) are doomed to remain in said prison...

The Texans are Kruger Industrial Smoothing. Cal is Mr Kruger, and Easterby is trying to con him into making donations to the Human Fund.

Pretty ridiculous for him to make these comments. You can criticize O'Brien and Easterby without acting like 9 million dollars for 10 games is "prison." Yeah, we are a ****ing start-up right now. Nick Caserio said as much. Contracts like Randall Cobb's were part of the freaking problem!!

He had no problem cashing those Texans checks though. I agree the Texans are a mess but don’t get to another team and talk s*** when you did absolutely nothing here. If anything he was part of the issue. Big salary and average production.

I'm sure most of us have been in a situation where we work at a sh*tty place, complain about it to our family, friends and on social media but still accept the direct deposits that come in every two weeks. So I don't have a problem with what he said about in terms of a bad workplace environment.

What I DO have an issue with is that he's going (back) to an organization that hasn't exactly knocked it out of the park the past few years under their current GM's regime. I mean...if Gutekunst had done a better job Cobb wouldn't even be in this situation, getting traded back to a former team to appease the franchise QB. So yea....the Texans do look like a start up operation when compared to a storied franchise like the Packers but let's not make it seem like the Packers is Apple because they're more like JC Penney right now.

It's not his fault that O'Brien overpaid him. It's not like he really disappointed as a player. We knew who he was beforehand and still gave him the contract.

We should sacrifice the Texans to add an NBA team in Seattle. And I hated the Sonics

cal is trash and I don’t understand why those seats stay full every season.

There is a reason most large successful organizations have anti-nepotism policies. Just because you are the owner’s son and have been groomed doesn’t mean you have damn clue what you are doing.

He had no problem signing the contract when BOB overpaid for his mediocre ass though.

Why did he leave GB in the first place??

And if it was Green Bay fault he left then what does that tell him what they think of him??

That's what Aaron Rodgers' press conference was about - him thinking the team made lots of stupid decisions letting key players go because they didn't value them enough.
