Why it needs to be Mobley...

The real discussion should be Green vs Suggs, which Suggs beats him out comfortably. Mobley is in a tier of his own. Not even close.

 

That front line would be fantastic and the team would be better immediately with Mobley anchoring the defense.

I'm understanding of the Green pick tho because he could be a 25 ppg scorer in the league and the team will be exciting offensively.

Hopefully we score a top 3 pick again next year and this Mobley/Green debate will be a distant memory.

 

LOL Who would Mobley emulate in the Twin Towers 2 scenario? Both Ralph and Dream were monsters in the paint and Mobley is this perimeter pony. Dont see it.

 

Obviously he's more of a Ralph than Hakeem type player. Relax, no one is suggesting they would be that good. It would just be an interesting front line.

Andrew Wiggins was a 24ppg scorer his third year. I can definitely see Green as a empty calorie, sportcenter highlight, contribute nothing to winning, 20+ point scorer. That's his floor, so the good news is he still retain some trade value. Just don't resign him to a massive extension.

 

Let me check my notes .... yep - so far Evan Mobley will be a combination of Akeem Olajuwon, Ralph Sampson, Kevin Garnett, Chris Bosh, Anthony Davis.

Rudy, Elvin, Moses, Dream, Ralph, OT, Yao, Deke, Dwight --- Evan Mobley obviously couldn't deal with the pressure of continuing the tradition. Should have shown up and asked for Dream to attend his workout. Instead he allowed his Daddy to steer him to Cleveland. SMH.

Since I started out slightly in the Mobley camp I'll donate this campaign slogan;

We can "go Green" and save the planet......or "go Mobley" and save the Rockets!

 

7 footers are like the heavyweight division in boxing, there's always going to be a lot of excitement and hyperbole surrounding them.

Particularly for a franchise that has a history with Hall of fame big men.

 

The Mobley hate on here is unnecessary and pretty lame

 

What confuses me is when people act as if you can't like multiple prospects, and prefer some over others while still liking the others
