Going out on a limb a bit here, but Green is not new - seen many Green before that didn't pan out. Mobley is rare. A taller Chris Bosh with better defense.

You might be right, but that's what I believe. Any team will have to show patience with Green. I don't think he will ever become as good as Kobe, but I think he will emerge as a all star for many years. Mobley will become an all star too. My desire is to see Cade fall to number 2. I believe his maturity and polish will prove to be invaluable to the Rockets.

Rockets are F'ing stupid if they chose no defense Todd because of his friendship with Green.

    Incompetence personified.

Professes to see examples of Player A, but not of Player B and then give a comp to Player B!!!

This draft has Silas’ fingerprints all over it. Offense, offense, offense! Defense be dammed!

Burning desire is huge, we know Green has it, some have questioned whether Mobley does. And how do you get your own read on it if he won't come here to workout and interview?

Sure, but when you have a sample of 3 great out of 100 vs 3 out 5...

Even The Athletic is praying that the Rockets come to their senses.

    Crazy!!!

Is there an alternative pick? I’m still holding out hope there has been some crazy smokescreen to have the Rockets end up with Evan Mobley. That’s not a knock on Jalen Green. I just think Mobely would be a fascinating pick for the Rockets, but Green feels like the lock here.

You've said this repeatedly but Mobley gets to FT line almost THREE times more often than Green.

One of Green's areas of improvement is handling physicality and getting to FT line.

If you think Mobley struggles with contact based on this data, how do you reevaluate Green?

Blame some of that on Shaka Smart.

All 3 Texas guys are all blank canvases because Smart did not maximize them.

It is. I think what people said they are is cool and all but I don't read too much into it. These are still kids, especially Green. No idea why Mobley hasn't worked out for any top picking teams - maybe he just doesn't give a damn about which team pick him or if he's #1, #2 or #3.

Mobley won't get to the line frequently when GA, and JE bang against him. Green has his jumper and creativity on the scoring end, even when he isn't getting calls. Green isn't afraid of getting hurt.

    LOL

I know he isn't - kid still lands on one leg.

But that doesnt mean he is more physical than Mobley, quite the opposite in fact.

Now Suggs is the physical beast who INVITES contact.

Look, both Mobley and Green are skinny. Suggs is a beast, he doesn’t have their upside. Otherwise, he would be challenging Cade for the number 1. Let's relax, and see what will Stone do. Tilman and PF will have the final say at the end. I hope we will end up with a successful draft.
