    they had decided that on lottery night when they won the #1 overall pick, but tried to play all these little games like Cade wasn’t a lock from day 1

    a team becomes relevant for the 1st time in forever and doesn’t know how to act

    No doubt. I'm expecting another tweet in five minutes that Rockets will be taking Jalen Green, rinse and repeat for the rest of the picks. Why even have the draft tonight when Woj will be on twitter giving us the goods 5 hours before the event.

    Piston’s FO got to Woj to say “whoa, slow down. We still want people to call and offer trades!”

    Point of the first leak was to put pressure on Rockets, who might have believed there was a chance Detroit straight-up selected Green.
