Holy **** that's a steep price. The asking price on some of these other guys is going to be outrageous.

Apparently, the A'ss don't agree with our assessment that the division is ours.

That’s ok. Let’s get bryant and kimbrel and call it a wrap.

I am not sure the As actually improved their team

A's are pushing to still win the division as they should.

As someone pointed out two pages back, I hope Click doesn't sit on his hands just because he made one move. It was a solid move and there's nothing really to complain about it. But there is more to be done imo. The A's paid a steep price for a rental.

Would love to see another arm and a bat. There's not a lot of depth if someone gets hurt. I hope Houston is checking on Bryant.

Sure it is, but they gave up something to get that outfield. I guess it depends on how you perceive Luzardo.

They also got the Marlins to pay all of Marte's remaning contract. So Luzardo and over 4 million for Marte...

And the one reason I would love for Click to go after Bryant is to have insurance if Bregman isn't healthy. I'm not sure Bregman is going to be healthy enough to be that true difference maker. Soft tissue injuries are a booger.

This. With Toro now on the Mariners, they had to make a move.

If Marte was traded for Luzardo, a higher caliber player like Bryant would probably require Leon or a combo of top prospects. Not worth it IMO.
